Even an ASI could have prepared UN-like report: Ghauri

KARACHI: Commenting on UN report about Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Babar Ghauri said Wednesday that even an ASI could also have prepared such report.

If any ASI had conducted probe into the slaying of Benazir Bhutto, he would also have blamed inadequate security arrangements for the murder.

“We have to find the assassins by ignoring security lapses, he said, adding the UN report has identified the negligence, not assassin.”

Ghauri said people want to know about the murderers.

The present government could make some progress in accordance with the UN report, he opined.
