Hunza IDPs suffer due to lack of facilities in camps HUNZA: The IDPs of Hunza who are taking refuge in different camps set up by the government are facing a number of hardships due to the inclement weather.

After the formation of artificial lake in Attabad due to land sliding, the government shifted the residents of low lying areas in Hunza Nagar and Gilgit to the relief camps set up in 30 different spots. About 25000 to 30000 IDPs are taking shelter in these camps.

Meanwhile, the IDPs of Danyor camp in Gilgit have complained that they have to suffer from a number of difficulties in the camps set up by the government due to bad weather conditions. They said the IDPs are not being provided things required for cooking besides other necessary items of daily use.
